Monday we hit Six Flags. The kids had a blast! Since the weather was overcast, the park was empty. Literally no lines!!! It was great. We also took our friends' son...worked out well so the boys could go on the bigger rides together. Noah went on his first real rollercoaster. He then couldn't get enough and went on many more that day!
Yesterday it was off to the Jersey Shore. We had made a run the night before to grab some boogie boards. Noah and Hannah loved it. The waves weren't too high but just enough for them to enjoy. Even Sarah got into the water a bit and jumped around. We couldn't get her on the boogie board but we'll keep trying.
This morning we went over to Smith Memorial Playground in Philly. Sarah had gone on a field trip there last month but it rained so they couldn't play outside. The park is completely free and has a ton of stuff to do.
After all of that, we were starving!! So, Michael suggested we go to Pat's for cheesesteaks. Now, if you aren't familiar with Philly, there is a huge rivalry amoungst the cheesesteak places. Mike's Fave by far is Pat's in South Philly. Only Noah had been before so we thought it time to introduce the girls....he even had to show them the "stance". You have to have the proper stance when you eat a cheesesteak, otherwise, your shoes will be covered in grease and cheese!
Whew....all that and it is only Wednesday!!!
